Evening with church representatives from Papua New Guinea

Entirely in the sign of the church in Papua New Guinea, the Gesprächsabend stood “meet and move” on the 15th of July with a high-ranking partner delegation, to which mission one world had invited.

Secretary-general Isaac Teo and Ökumene advisor Kinim Siloi reported before approximately 120 visitors over life of the lutherischen church, with which the Bavarian country church connects a long and intensive partnership.  Especially the contact with traditional religions, that are in remote zones again on the advance, as well as the charismatic churches interested in the subsequent discussion.

The bishop of the Melpa Lutheran Church in Papua New Guinea (MLC-PNG), Sanangke Dole, illuminated the beneficial peace work in the highland.  Two representatives of the Australian Lutheraner, who participate just in the summer study course, described in its word of welcome the education with 160 schools at which next to the knowledge settlement the value settlement in the center would stand.
